I’ve been carrying the grace bomb cards around in my bag for awhile but have not used them. I’m a nurse educator at a hospital in Baltimore, I was on my phone on the way out of work and a discharged patient stopped me and asked me for a dollar to buy her prescription. I never carry cash and honestly rarely stop when people ask for money. But today I stopped and replied I don’t have cash but I may have some change .. she said anything would help. I dug through my purse and found nothing then remembered a change purse in my work bag. I dumped the contents in a plastic bag and handed it to her with a grace bomb card. She said that no one ever helps and I said Merry Christmas. It felt really good to finally use them. I’m not sure why I waited so long.
