It would be weird to walk around in a bubble. Trust me, we’ve seen it. We literally put our buddy Jake in a bubble and had him walk around a busy city street to see what people would say, and it’s weird. But unfortunately, this is how most Christians live their everyday lives – in a bubble where they keep their faith private. Christian bubbles are real, and a real problem.

All of us can sing the song “this little light of mine...I’m gonna let it shine.” But singing it is much easier than living it. For the average Christian person, whether it’s apathy, comfort, fear, not wanting to be cringy, being too distracted, or just unaware of the people around us – taking Jesus pubic is not a muscle often flexed for the majority of our brothers and sisters in Christ. We believe this must change to accomplish the Great Commission in our generation.

One tool to help us get there is Grace Bomb.

Grace Bomb cards turn a random act of kindness into an intentional act of love that implicates Jesus as the source. This is a tool that requires proximity and awareness of other human beings, leverages the element of surprise, and allows us to love our neighbors no strings attached.

The innovation of Grace Bomb is not in its branding, but in its simplicity and fun – helping ordinary Christians make the invisible grace of Jesus visible through surprising kindness. It also lowers the barrier of getting into the game by allowing you to start anonymously, which is where most people need to start. Excitingly, as science shows, the more you pop your bubble, the easier it gets – comfort zones expand, and having natural conversations about Jesus becomes more possible.

Grace Bomb also breaks ground because it is Spirit-led and decentralized. Most church folks are conditioned for a church staff to drive outreach through community service programs – perhaps even becoming dependent on “professionals,” as opposed to getting better at following the Spirit’s promptings in their everyday lives. And this is where God is working through GB – take this story from Dwight, who got Grace Bombed in his own words:

“A party of three was on a nature walk and realized that the return to their car was a few miles away. The gentleman asked if I could bring him, his sister, and his mother back to their vehicle. I'm not in a good place in my life. I recently had a few surgeries due to an injury I got at work. I am also going through a divorce after 18 years of marriage (not by choice). But I lived my life with a motto to always be kind. This angel and his family asked for help. Little did he know I was planning on ending my life after I saw the bluff. His family said a prayer for me and truly saved my life. I don't remember their names, but God put him in the right place, and he never knew what he did. All I know is he gave me this card, and he saved my life. Thank you.”

This is one of 1091 stories we received in 2025 – from people self-reporting on our website. All told, in 2025, we put 92,390 Grace Bomb cards into people’s hands across the globe – every card representing a step of faith, a bubble being popped, a neighbor being pointed to the true source of kindness, Jesus. Grace Bomb cards and launching resources are free for all people and churches, even down to the shipping costs.

This all started from a sermon series where the GB cards and website were born. The following year, the Grace Bomb non-profit formed to give the cards and content away to other churches and individuals. Within that year, we saw Grace Bombers in all 50 states, and in the past 24 months, we’ve equipped people in 92 countries and 3 languages.

As these folks walk in those good works that God has prepared in advance for them, they are sparking brush fires of obedience to loving our neighbors. Investing in Grace Bomb would pour fuel on these fires, pushing us to reach a tipping point of helping believers take steps of faith, and igniting the largest powder keg of untapped potential in the world today – the Bride of Christ.
